Festival News : Electric Picnic initial line-up announcement at 12pm
The days are getting longer, the temperature is slowly but surely moving away from the blue zone and Electric Picnic have just made their first official line-up announcement. Springtime is definitely upon us.
Shortly after winning IMRO’s Festival of the Year award on Tuesday night, the EP organisers have revealed the initial details for the line-up that will take to the Stradbally stages come September.
Sigur Ros, The Cure, The Roots, Elbow, The xx, Orbital, Glen Hansard and Ed Sheeran are probably the biggest hitters when it comes to a commercial sense with Alabama Shakes, Lanterns On The Lake, Jonathan Wilson and Land Lovers standing out as some nice inclusions indeed.
