The Pavilion becomes a Popical Island
The Popical Island collective invades Cork on February 11th as three of Ireland’s finest indie-popsters play The Pavilion for…wait for it…FREE!
Land Lovers, Squarehead and Tieranniesaur all released brand spanking new albums in 2011 with all three appearing on endless “Best of 2011” lists including a top thirty from The Point of Everything which you can view here.
The trio also independently made their bows on Cork’s currently thriving live music scene in 2011 with The G-Man fortunate enough to catch up with Land Lovers for an interview before their gig back in November which you can read here.
February 11th is the first in what The Pavilion have planned to be a “new concept night featuring music labels showcasing their success”. The year is young but already we have a “not-to-be-missed” to be marked on those fresh new 2012 diaries.
