Community of Independents Episode 5
Nialler9 and Harmless Noise have been pushing Community of Independents for quite a while now so it is about time I caught up!
The Dublin-based studio show has just broadcast episode 5 of its weekly music show which broadcasts on Dublin Community Television (DCTV). The station itself is funded by membership fees and a variety of other sources including Dublin City Council to name just one.
In their own words Community of Independents is a “television series exploring Independent Music in Ireland and the different layers that make up this essential and fruitful community. The series will look at the labels , bands , collectives, promoters , bloggers and YOU!”.
The fifth episode features a revealing chat with Hope Collective’s Niall McGuirk not to mention a profile on OOAL‘s Owensie.
