The Altered Hours

The G-Man gig of the week comes in the form of The Altered Hours who launch their long awaited EP Downstream this weekend with a free show in The Pavilion. Click here for more details.

Saturday is a mental night for quality gigs with Out On a Limb records holding an official launch for the Crayonsmith/Elk split 7″ in Plugd, GoodCop BadCop host Chirps, Family Planning and The Great Ocean Divide in An Realt Dearg not to mention a single launch from Toy Soldier in The Crane Lane Theatre.

Another excellent (and FREE) Cyprus Avenue Late & Live gig takes place the night before with Halves (who were outstanding as support for amiina in Cork Opera House recently) and The Consumer Affair (gently) rocking us into the early hours. A good ska bop can be had with Citizen Fish in The Crane Lane Theatre at an earlier time on Friday.

The week itself kicks off with a showcase featuring more local talent with the monthly KC Sessions once again providing a platform for unsigned talents to demonstrate their abilities.
