Balcony TV launched in Cork
This evening Leeside popstars Fred launched BalconyTV Cork.
The balcony in question belongs to the Electric Bar on the South Mall and it is this balcony that will remain BalconyTV Cork’s permanent home.
For those who are unaware of the site BalconyTV, founded in June 2006, is a leading daily online viral music show that features bands, musicians and other variety acts on balconies all around the world including Paris, New York, Toronto, Melbourne, Dublin and now Cork.
Joanne Collins and John Hough are the good folks who have volunteered their services and appearances have already been confirmed for local artists Dylan Fitzgerald and Lynda Cullen.
The announcement is just another feather in the thriving Cork music scene’s cap as the city goes from strength to strength as regards the live scene and her original artists.
