The task of overcoming difficult-second-album syndrome is no mean feat and it is one which Florence Welch is about to tackle this Autumn/Winter.
On first listen it sounds as if Florence & The Machine have picked up from exactly where they left off with soft bits building into a very powerful wave of sound. The great thing is, with pop music, people are not really looking for you to change all that much.
“What The Water Gave Me” is the solo artists first official release since the incredible success of debut long player Lungs and an album has been touted for a November 4th release.
