The G-Man Gig of the Week
Mercury Rev play three nights in Ireland this week including two in Cork.
The Buffalo band who formed back in the late eighties are currently touring (or should I say retouring) their 1998 classic Deserter’s Songs and will perform the album in its entirety on each night. The three-date-stint kicks off in Cyprus Avenue tonight (May 16th) and the band will also play a second night at the Cork venue on Tuesday (May 17th). The trio of dates will be capped off with a performance in Dublin’s Vicar Street on Wednesday (May 18th).
