Album News : Boa Morte
Formed in 1998 in Cork, Boa Morte have been flying under the radar in recent years.
Debut album “Soon It Will Come Time To Face The World Outside” was released in 2002 to critical acclaim both nationally and internationally.
“By the time you’ve got the full measure of their sombre elegance, the band are confirmed masters, not slaves, of the idiom. Bare-boned thrums like Unfortunate Leader or Burn, a single phrase like “Oh, tired eyes, they hold their water”, are ultimately priceless.” Mojo
Hectic touring soon followed before the band returned to the studio in 2004 & 2005 to record the follow up. However various record label “issues” have resulted in a huge delay in the release but it has now been announced that “The Dial Waltz” will be released in February 2010.
