G-Man Festival Spotlight : Latitude

On Thursday 19th July Henham Park on the Sunrise Coast (idyllic yes?) in Suffolk, England the re-energized Latitude Festival kicks off its annual shenanigans.

Usually billed as a sister festival to the Electric Picnic Festival held in our own Stradbally both festivals usually contain similar line ups. However a few peaches always seem to turn up across the water that we for some reason or another do not get to taste or even smell.

This year the Sunday afternoon treat slot (filled last year by the lovely Joanna Newsom) is filled by none other than Radiohead’s Thom Yorke.

Cross overs between the two festivals in 2009 include Bat For Lashes, Lykke Li, Lisa Hannigan and Magazine. Noticeably this is a lot different than previous years.
